Suite 6 Architecture+Planning, inc.

  We are a strategic partner in commercial development, providing overarching vision and direction to project planning and architectural design.  Recognizing the sweeping changes affecting today’s building industry, our specialization has been a natural outgrowth of the design profession.  Leveraging technology, we are able to assemble regional or global teams with varied backgrounds and cultures to bring a greater cross-pollination of ideas, without limitations of physical geography or company affiliation. 

In 2000, Dean Munkachy, AIA, LEED ap, created Suite 6 Architecture+Planning Inc.


Our specialized firm has now grown to offer over 40 years of combined design experience.  Suite 6 has partnered with key developers in the Southwest such as RED, WDP, Westcor and Vestar.   Our Scottsdale Arizona based firm achieves significant results with a relatively small, creative team, and can even offer LEED management for green building projects. Our ability to recognize the uniqueness and context of each site and its surrounding area is one of our core strengths.  Suite 6 brings those qualities to life by creating vibrant and engaging shopping environments that capture and enhance the sense of community.  These impactful power centers, lifestyle centers and mixed use projects include Scottsdale 101, Gilbert Gateway, Cornerstone at Queen Creek, the Shops at Gainey Village, and Easy Street in Carefree.
