Lower Buckeye and 63rd Avenue Entry Drive Sketch

An 80 acre parcel at 63rd Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road was zoned for mixed-use commercial, positioning it as a major economic driver in the developing Estrella Village of south Phoenix.  Suite 6 was brought on board by Newport Development to provide master planning and community imaging for the pivotal commercial site.  Newport’s rezoning coincided with the Estrella Village Planning Committee’s drafting of a new Core Plan, allowing Suite 6 to collaborate with city staff on key plan elements.  The resulting Core Plan document spells out a unique vision for Estrella Village based on design sensitivity to the local vernacular combined with forward-thinking, pedestrian oriented, clustered planning.
